A Generational Legacy Home
Stewards of a multi-generational family business, our clients sought a home that transcended mere shelter. They envisioned a sanctuary that would not only embrace their family today but would also become a cherished heirloom for generations to come. Their wish was for a space that reflected their deep-rooted connection to nature and their desire for a home that would evolve and mature alongside their family.
In response, we crafted a coastal residence that is as much a work of art as it is a place to live. The home’s architecture is a harmonious interplay of natural materials and timeless design principles. We employed sustainably sourced cypress, cedar, copper, lime, and oak, allowing these elements to weather and patina gracefully, creating a unique and ever-changing character. Dog scratches are welcome. Kids bouncing invited. Wine on the floor, a sign of life well-lived.
At the heart of the design is the concept of liveability. Fumed oak floors, rich and warm, invite barefoot luxury. The soft, ethereal glow of lime-washed cypress walls and ceilings creates an atmosphere of tranquility. Custom-treated limestone, found in both flooring and countertops, adds a tactile dimension to the spaces. Every detail, from the placement of windows to the flow of interior spaces, was meticulously considered to create an endless sense of calm.
The result is a home that is not merely a stage for life, but an active participant in the family’s story. It is a place where memories are made, laughter echoes, and the bonds of family are strengthened.
