A Glamorous Oasis in Historic
West Palm Beach
This waterfront residence is a testament to refined living and a deep appreciation for timeless design. Situated in the coveted El Cid neighborhood, the home seamlessly blends classic Spanish Revival architecture with modern luxury.
Our client, a couple with impeccable taste, desired a space that exudes glamor while maintaining a warm and inviting atmosphere. By carefully selecting materials such as aged French limestone, reclaimed wood beams, and custom-mixed lime paints and plaster, along with rooms lined in silk, we created exceptional intimacy. The interior’s focal point, a dramatic red dining room, adds a touch of unexpected drama, reflecting the client’s bold and sophisticated personality. The red mineral paint creates a deep appearance reminiscent of a Vermeer painting. It’s muted, yet rich. The effect is striking.
The home’s exterior, characterized by a painted stucco and handcrafted terracotta roof tiles, pays homage to the neighborhood’s rich history. However, it is the interior where the true magic unfolds. A harmonious blend of old-world craftsmanship and contemporary comforts, the space is designed for effortless entertaining and luxurious everyday living. Every detail, from the herringbone-patterned oak floors to the custom-designed fireplace, reflects the client’s discerning eye and creates an unforgettable living experience.
